Our recent experience in the Business Services area includes:

  • Advising a publicly listed telecommunications company on the acquisition of a number of related industry businesses;
  • Advising a large multinational energy generator and retailer on major documentation for capital raising, project finance and operational issues relating to the development and network connection of four power stations across three states;
  • Acting on behalf of a major metal recycler on the sale of its business at a value of $40 million;
  • Advising a food industry company on their Purchase of Interests, restructuring, management buy out, financing and sale of shares;
  • Representing an Indian publicly listed company on the acquisition of an Australia travel industry company;
  • Advising a large funds management business in a ASX float.  The trust assembled a portfolio of retirement and aged care property assets of $1.3 billion.  Madgwicks assisted the client to obtain its responsible entity licence, establish and register the Trust with ASIC, and various capital raising culminating in a successful $100 million raise and float;
  • Acting in the commercialisation of new technology for the construction of modular housing including the establishment of commercial structures, manufacturing, consulting and licence agreements and consideration of intellectual property issues.
