On Wednesday 1 July 2009, Madgwicks released an e-alert entitled: The Fair Work Act 2009, effective 1 July 2009. The e-alert reports that the Fair Work Act 2009 has entirely replaced the Workplace Relations Act 1996 (WorkChoices). The majority of the Act becomes law on 1 July 2009.
