Friends of Madgwicks – If there is no will, who can inherit? New changes ahead in Victoria
Changes to the Administration and Probate Act 1958 (Vic) (the Act) will come into effect from 1 November 2017. A new Part IA on intestacy has been added to the Act which sets out in clear terms who is to receive the estate in the event of intestacy (where the deceased has no will).
In this seminar, Peter Holdsworth, Special Counsel will present an overview on the recent changes.
