Competition and consumer law is relevant to virtually all business. The ACCC and Courts highlight the importance of effective compliance management systems, and penalties for non-compliance are severe.
In this seminar, Rick Goldberg, Partner will explore:
- recent legislative amendments to Australia’s competition law in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 in areas such as cartels, price signalling and concerted practices, third line forcing, resale price maintenance, and authorisations; and
- how to implement (or update) an effective compliance program based on new international standard AS:ISO19600 (2015) “Compliance Management –Guidelines”.
Those eligible will also receive 1 CPD point for Substantive Law.
