We are delighted to announce that Workplace Relations and Safety Partner Luisa Gonzaga has been named as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards for Workplace Health and Safety Relations category.

Taking a client-centric approach and integrating herself into clients’ businesses to provide around the clock support and advice whilst achieving hugely successful outcomes has garnered Luisa a strong and loyal client and referral base.

Luisa is an  occupational health and safety specialist with experience in assisting clients in matters involving compliance, chain of responsibility, health and safety representation, responding to and assisting clients manage major workplace incidents, responding to and dealing with regulators, representing clients on WHS prosecutions and coronial inquests, and merits review at VCAT. She is experienced in undertaking bullying investigations and workplace incidents.

She also provides legal advice on WorkCover matters from managing ill and injured workers, return to work obligations and statutory benefits, and gives advice and represents clients in challenging Workplace Industry Classification disputes.

Luisa was delighted to be recognised in the prestigious awards.

The Lawyers Weekly’s Partner of the Year Awards showcases outstanding performance by partners across individual practice areas within the Australian legal profession. This year’s finalists feature 250 high-achieving legal professionals across 31 categories.
