Charles Thompson, Associate, will present a succinct, easy to understand overview of the law in relation to the office of director, including the implications of non-compliance and protection against potential liability.
Charles will cover a range of issues including:
- Overview of the office and the role of a director on a board of a proprietary company
- Directors’ duties and obligations – what do they actually mean?
- What are the risks? Possible liabilities for breach, and
- Managing exposure – key measures for directors to manage their potential exposure to personal liability.
