Rick is a highly experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, with particular expertise in financial services, managed funds and superannuation.

Rick’s clients include public and private companies, public offer and SMSF super funds, fund managers, corporate and investment advisors, accountants, and family-owned businesses across a broad range of industries.

His key practice areas include mergers and acquisitions; capital raising; managed funds and superannuation, and related areas of financial service regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

Rick’s strength lies in his attention to detail in addressing the complex issues of regulatory and corporate compliance to ensure his clients’ interests are protected, whilst “getting the deal done” with a minimum of fuss. In addition to his transactional experience, Rick also works closely with his clients to help manage the day-to-day running of their business, to effectively ensure all legal avenues are investigated and the most appropriate commercial solution reached.

Rick is a Madgwicks representative for Meritas, a global alliance of more than 180 independent business law firms, and is actively involved in several industry associations including ASFA, AIST, PFA, and SMSF Association.
