Madgwicks is pleased to have recently acted for MOBA AG (MOBA) a global German engineering company on its acquisition of MCE Lasers, one of Australia’s leading providers and manufacturer of high-end laser alignment technology.
Corporate Partner, Rick Goldberg, led the Madgwicks deal team. BDO Melbourne led by Partner, Gary Poon, acted for MOBA on the financial due diligence and tax advice.
MCE Lasers and MOBA have collaborated closely for many years and the acquisition will marry MCE Laser’s local know-how with MOBA’s ability to expand this local knowledge to a wider, international reach.
MOBA Australia Managing Director Daniel Ramondetta is looking forward to the service expansion stating, “From now on, construction sites all over Australia and New Zealand profit from proven and over the years refined technologies along with a committed, experienced service. The variety of our selected application portfolio does not leave any wishes unfulfilled in harsh environments – whether they be in the paving, mining, agriculture or earthmoving industry.”
Andreas Lante, MOBA’s Finance & Controlling Manager thanked Madwicks for its professional, commercial and efficient legal support. Madgwicks congratulates MOBA on this acquisition and looks forward to a successful on-going relationship and contributing to MOBA’s future growth.
