Tom May Head of Tax
Tom has been practising for more than 30 years in the areas of tax disputes and litigation (including tax audits), as well as tax planning, and complex trust and estate planning issues.
As Head of Tax, Tom is well regarded for his ability to understand and advise clients on the timing of and legal strategy for settlement of their tax disputes, and whether proceeding to a hearing is the best approach.
He has advised a very large range of clients including public and private companies, local government, incorporated associations, private individuals and charitable groups, in relation to almost every area of both federal and state taxation.
Tom has also advised extensively on commercial matters, often on issues arising from tax advice.
Tom’s Madgwicks Moment: There’s a lot to be said about having the trust and support of the same PA for over 35 years, and this teamwork and consistency directly benefits my clients.
