Madgwicks is proud to announce the promotion of Sazz Nasimi to Partner and Jen Severn to Senior Associate, effective 1 October 2018.
Sazz has been a valued member of the Litigation team since 2011 and runs a successful and diverse litigation practice with a loyal client base. With strong technical skills and an outcome focused approach, Sazz provides excellent service to his clients and is a trusted advisor to many across the firm. Sazz is a leader in his team and provides mentorship and guidance to junior lawyers who work very closely with him.

Sazz has extensive experience in commercial disputes in both state and federal jurisdictions in complex and large scale disputes and is regularly called to advise both liquidators and corporations in this area. Sazz has acted for individuals and corporation in corporate and personal insolvency; landlords and tenants in retail leasing disputes; individual and corporations in matter pertaining to breach of director’s duties and white collar crime; and shareholders in shareholder oppression matters. Sazz is of the philosophy that good communication is essential for client satisfaction and makes a point of understanding his client’s business and needs before providing any advice.
Jen Severn, Senior Associate, Property
Jen Severn is an experienced property lawyer with experience across a number of complex transactions and is well regarded for her commerciality, pragmatic approach to legal issues and ability to understand key property objectives. Jen specialises in off-the-plan residential, commercial, industrial and greenfield developments; sales and acquisitions of commercial, industrial and residential properties; and rural sales and acquisitions including water share transfer requirements.
